Vespucian Arm, Column B, Sector 3 wormholes

Posted

I added some wormholes for transportation to this Sector. I am considering them Ancient Technology, not done by Grandfather.

hexagon location 0205 to 2317 is 21.5 light years. The journey is one-way from 0205 to 2317.

hexagon location 2317 to 0723 is 15 light years. The journey is one-way from 2317 to 0723.

hexagon location 1534 to 2317 is 18.4 light years. The journey is two-way

hexagon location 0733 to 1534 is 7 light years. The journey is two-way

hexagon location 2633 to 3317 is 5.6 light years. The journey is three-way which means there is a slight chance to be transported to one of the other wormholes.

Wormhole travel times:

a) 21.5 lyrs, 6.6 pc; b) 18.4 lyrs, 5.6 pc; c) 15 lyrs, 4.6 pc; d) 7 lyrs, 2.15 pc; e) 5.6 lyrs, 1.72 pc; 1 parsec = 3.26 lyrs

Wormholes are equivalent speed to Jump 2, i.e. 2 parsecs per week.

a) 3.3 weeks of travel; 3 weeks 2 days

b) 2.8 weeks of travel; 2 weeks, 5 days, 14 hours

c) 2.3 weeks of travel; 2 weeks, 2 days

d) 1.1 weeks of travel; 1 week, 1 day

e) 0.86 weeks of travel; 6 days

As a work of fiction, how could these be created ? Well, documentaries I’ve watched state that it would take negative energy to hold the wormhole open… and negative energy doesn’t exist.

However, there is dark matter and dark energy. According to a documentary I have watched, they stated that dark matter is moving the galaxies apart. Doesn’t that mean that dark matter is countering gravity ? Wouldn’t that make it negative energy ? I don’t know.
